Shilpa Shetty’s latest fashion spree gave us some style goals as well as disasters to avoid. Here goes all the dope…
Hats off to her stylist Sanjana Batra for picking out this lovely number for her latest outing. The leggy beauty looked sizzling in an ox-blood Riddhi Mehra outfit, comprising of a pretty blouse with V-neck and a pair of high-waist palazzo pants. Shilpa completed her look with statement earrings from Valliyan, chunky bracelets from Prerto, lipstick matching her attire, striking makeup, and soft waves.
Too many issues here. To tape for a recent episode for The Kapil Sharma Show, Mrs. Shetty chose baby pink separates from Lola By Suman B. Her off-shoulder crop top gave the perfect company to the layered skirt. Shilpa’s vibrant high ponytail and makeup highlights made for a pleasant picture. But that was it, as the actress failed to complement the rest of her styling as immaculately. Her earrings (jewelery from Outhouse and Prerto) acted as a huge distraction… in a wrong way. Those were definitely not the best pieces she could have tried with this look. The finish of her crop top too took away the attention, as it looked untidy and clumsy. And finally, Shilpa’s footwear that left a really bad taste in the mouth. The white strappy heels appeared ridiculously awkward and overwhelming.
This was evidently her coolest and most enchanting recent public appearance. For her Super Dancer stint, the diva wore a super chirpy outfit from Masaba Gupta. She paired up an off-shoulder top with a gorgeously cheery pink draped skirt. I totally dig the prints on her ensemble. Shilpa fabulously finished out her look with her trademark middle-parted hair worn open in light waves, stunning makeup details, a traditional neck piece, and golden heels.
Your favourite look?
Love applying black or really dark nail paints, but steer clear of indulging for the fear of those horrible sights when you are trying to remove the polish? I’ll give a mind-blowing trick today that will keep all your worries at bay forever. And guess what, it’s as simple as a cakewalk!
Just pour some nail paint remover in a small bowl. Now dip your fingers in it for 15-20 seconds, and swipe your nails clean with a small piece of cotton/cotton cloth. Woohoo! It’s done!
It wasn’t a great sight for those who love Sonam Kapoor’s style statements.
The actress turned up looking as awkward as possible at the launch party of Cole Haan recently. She picked a white Bibhu Mohapatra blouse and teamed it up with a black Birdwalk skirt, and threw a sparkling golden long coat from Péro over the monochrome separates.
While the outfit wasn’t a deal-breaker entirely, the actress fell short of striking a chord neck up. I don’t really mind the double knot hairdo. It was her unappetizingly bold makeup that scored nothing with me. Her OTT dark lips and shimmery eye shadow looked nothing short of overindulgence. Her chokers looked pretty though. Sonam completed her look with a Diorama bag and Cole Haan sneakers.
Is it me or do you also notice an under-confident Sonam Kapoor here?
For her latest outing to promote her forthcoming film, Akira, Sonakshi Sinha sported a cool number, rocking it like a boss. The young actress wore Zara separates – a crisp white shirt and a pair of metallic culottes with a matching bow belt. The combo sure worked for the girl.
Sonakshi accessorized herself with assorted bracelets from Swarovski and Pipa Bella. Her neatly bun-tied hair, minimal makeup, and a pair of metallic heels finished off her look.
Though she looked appealing overall, I feel those footwear needed to be replaced with comfy sneakers to give her presence a more relaxed and casual feel. What do you think, people?
Kareena looked resplendent with her pregnancy glow. Shilpa stunned the pants off us with her drool-worthy washboard abs.
Let’s begin with the mommy-to-be Kareena Kapoor Khan. The actress looked flawless in a gorgeous sparkling Sabyasachi lehenga. The pregnancy radiance was totally apparent on her face, and she flaunted her little baby bump with super confidence. Bebo completed her look with an exquisite maang-tikka, striking makeup, and an arresting smile.
Shilpa Shetty oozed oomph and sizzle in abundance in a pretty lehenga by Anushree Reddy. Middle-parted open hair, smokey eyes, soft pink lips, and a beautiful layered neckpiece finished out her look with finesse.
From the rest of the lot, not many struck a chord as the two divas. Even Deepika Padukone (no, she wasn’t on the ramp), who attended the starry event in a Sabyasachi floral silk saree, fell short of making an impact. Her dark lips made the matters even worse.
Dia Mirza still pulled off a decent retro-esque stint with flair. She wore a black and grey-silver Tulsi Silks saree and rounded out her look with a neat hairdo, a round bindi, dark lips, and lovely jewellery. Ileana D’Cruz slipped into a Ridhi Mehra lehenga; though it wasn’t a bad choice, it definitely lacked sizzle that’s the call for a sensational ramp do.
Newbie Pooja Hegde looked nice in a chic boho attire from Jade by Monica and Karishma. Prachi Desai also cut a pretty picture in an SVA ensemble, comprising of a cold-shoulder blouse, teamed up with an embellished voluminous lehenga.
Who do you find the most ramp-tastic?
The leggy beauty turned up at the television reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, to promote her upcoming film, Baar Baar Dekho, recently, and looked like fire. Or didn’t she? You decide…
Clad in a red-hot saree-inspired Anamika Khanna number, Katrina Kaif turned heads and how! The outfit comprised of a plain, sleeveless blouse that was teamed up with a pair of high-waist palazzo pants, and the actress beautifully completed her look with a matching dupatta with golden border. Kat wore it in a way to give her whole ensemble a feel of the traditional Indian saree. Though the styling could have been a little better there, Miss Kaif managed to pull off this one with sheer panache. So no gripe there.
Katrina left her hair open, wore a red bindi and matching lipstick, finished off the glam look with pretty golden jewellery. The actress set the stage on fire, didn’t she?
The young actress is a bundle of beauty and elegance. She certainly knows her art just too well. Whenever it comes to gracing the ramp, Shraddha Kapoor owns it to the tee. And this time was no exception.
During the Lakme Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2016, the pretty lass stole everyone’s hearts in an exquisite Manish Malhotra creation. That gorgeous lehenga was simply awe-inspiring. I would die to own a piece like that. Best thing is you can pair up this stunningly embellished voluminous lehenga with several options – from a crop top to a sequined blouse to even a plain top. It’s oh-so striking.
Shraddha wore a floral blouse with a nude background. The separates may look a bit weird together to many at first, but the more you see it, the lovelier it turns out for the eyes.
Miss Kapoor rounded out her look with middle-parted straight hair that she wore open, understated ear studs, arresting makeup, peachish lips, and black pumps. Truly a showstopper!
