The young girl is a style miracle in herself. Every time Alia Bhatt gets ready to step out, she has us in awe of her incredible fashion sense and super flair to turn just about any style a smash hit. She cast the same spell on us when she made an appearance at The Stiletto Club, an event hosted by one of her friends, last night.
Styled by Ami Patel, Miss Bhatt was gorgeously clad into a lovely taupe suede slip dress from Theory. It had a low-key side slit that made it look even cuter. Alia’s makeup, done by celeb makeup artist Divya Chablani, complemented her outfit superbly. Subtle, smokey eyes and muted lips looked good on her. Hairstylist Ayesha DeVitre tied her tresses in a fuss-free low ponytail, giving her a very neat look.
Another highlight from the actress’s appearance was her trendy choker from Zara. A pair of black stilettos completed her look. Fab!
Calling her a stunner would be an understatement. Jacqueline Fernandez is an hourglass diva who adds beauty and sizzle to just about any piece of clothing. During her recent appearance on the dance reality television show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, the temptress turned up looking like a complete bombshell.
Wearing an exquisite Arpita Mehta lehenga, Jacqueline nailed it like a pro. The stylish ensemble, traditional in soul and super contemporary in look and feel, sat oh-so incredibly on the actress’s hot curves. Her printed blouse was teamed up with a matching cape and a high-waist lehenga with flower motifs. Jacqueline, styled by Shaleena Nathani, looked spectacular!
Makeup artistes Vardan Nayak and Priyanka Borkar too played their parts excellently. From Jacqueline’s braided chic hairdo to fuchsia pink lips to winged eyes – everything was just spot-on. The dazzler wore a striking necklace from Diamantina Fine Jewels, and a trendy bangle from Jaipur Gems. Overall, she rocked the hot look with élan.
Summers could be the worst time of the year for hair blues. Dull, frizzy, and lacklustre tresses could give you nightmares. So do hair with no bounce. But like every problem has a solution, this one too is not an exception.
Here’s a quick fix – mix an egg white and half a cup of yogurt, and your protein-ed remedy is ready! Apply this mixture on your scalp and hair, and leave it for half an hour. Wash your hair with lukewarm water, and follow it up with shampooing your mane. And guess what, you’re done!
Repeat the process once a week. That’s it.
Say hello to voluminous hair!
While Karisma Kapoor’s black gown looked dreary to say the least, Ileana D’Cruz picked a purple number that lacked life and appeal. Aditi Rao Hydari’s yellow gown failed to look exotic for the big night, and Parineeti Chopra, clad in more of a casual ensemble, seemed to have missed the whole point of the beauty bash. Radhika Apte too fell short of casting a spell.
A slew of Bollywood actresses made it to the recently concluded Vogue Beauty Awards 2016, but sadly, not many could turn heads. In fact, there were only two B-Town girls who impressed me with their styles at the glitzy do – Katrina Kaif and Mahira Khan.
It was a red-hot one-shouldered Romona Keveza gown for Katrina that she owned to the tee. A peek at her washboard abs through the cutout detail made the actress look all the more drool-worthy.
She fabulously completed her look with soft curls, subtle makeup, chic geometric earrings from Misho Designs and a Micare ring.
On the other hand, the Pakistani sensation, Mahira Khan, who is all set to open her Hindi film account with Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees this year, too took me by storm with her simple yet sensational stint. Slipped into a sea-greenish one-shouldered Monisha Jaising gown, Mahira looked like a dream. She was all about glamour, grace and gorgeousness.
She skipped jewellery (except for a ring from Renu Oberoi Fine Jewellery) with this enticing number, and I’m certainly not complaining, as she totally rocked it this way. A middle-parted neatly tied hairdo, kohled eyes, minimal makeup, a golden pyramid Judith Leiber clutch, and golden heels finished out her look with flourish.
Too much hotness, no?
Priyanka Chopra and her style statements! The hot babe stuns us – always! And since the time she has gone international, all we have witnessed is a newer, more refreshing, more vibrant and more dynamic avatar of the lady. Even if it’s a simple attire, the actress pulls it off with such skills that we can’t help liking, admiring and applauding her all the more.
Recently, Miss Chopra went live on the American television show, The Today Show, with Usher, and took our breath away with her brilliance and fashion sense. Though she chose a plain number for the occasion, Priyanka sure added so much style and spunk to her appearance that this simple grey figure-hugging dress looked like a gorgeous outfit in itself.
Accessorizing herself with a cool pair of shades and baby pink pumps, the sizzler certainly upped her style game.
Priyanka wore her hair short, in light waves, and stuck to minimal makeup. She looked awesome!
Deepika Padukone looked as mastani as she could get this time around. Except for, well, her outfit that didn’t really give us any style goals.
As the Filmfare editor, Jitesh Pillai, turned a year older this month, he threw a bash that was attended by a slew of celebs. Deepika stole the show, hands down. That too, despite picking a not-so-amazing dress from her wardrobe. Then how exactly did she stun the pants off all, you wonder, right? Here’s all the dope…
The dazzling diva wore a metallic pantsuit, designed by Rajesh Pratap Singh. Wild, wavy hair, sexy smokey eyes, layered necklaces, black nails, and black Louboutin pumps completed her look.
While her sparkling outfit was easily not the most appealing thing about her appearance and could have been replaced with a better number to go with her imposing personality, it was definitely her hair and makeup that floored us. Her presence was absolutely worth it, courtesy those two things.
