Katrina Kaif In This Anamika Khanna Outfit Is A Mix Of Hit And Miss

I have always loved Anamika Khanna‘s designs. They have a certain enchanting quality that earns big with me… a pleasant mix of the traditional and the contemporary that instantly warms my heart. This time, it was B-Town babe Katrina Kaif who slipped into one of the latest stunning creations by the ace designer, and kind of rocked it. The actress was in Kolkata recently, promoting her next big flick, Baar Baar Dekho.

I said kind of because though the diva was awesomeness in this beauteous wear, I think she could have ameliorated her look had she… well, wait till I come to that part. Hmmm… so Katrina’s classy number looked oh-so trendy and elegant, with that abstract-esque printed crop top, lungi-styled draped skirt and a collared long jacket. Definitely an outfit to die for!

But hang on. Don’t you think the actress would have spelled magic had she opted for a neater hairdo? A top knot or a clean braided bun would have looked more admirable with this attire. With her signature open hair, the look seemed a bit busier, and thus a little unappealing. By the way, she was wearing lovely statement earrings from Ritika Sachdeva Chhabraw, but owing to her hair covering her ears most of the time, the sight of those exquisite silver pieces wasn’t as clear.

That apart, Katrina’s sneakers too killed the whole fun the ensemble could have created had she worn flats or something understated (traditional Kolhapuri chappals or subtle Punjabi juttis would have been great options). Looks like, the actress was inspired by the runway model so much that she completed her look with a similar pair of footwear.

Did I make valid points there, folks?
